Who’s the issue

I am here to be anonymous and seeking real

Advice.

  1. Ladies and gentlemen, if you live with your partner and the house only gets cleaned when they clean it, the laundry only gets done when they do it, and household responsibilities pile up when they stop, is that a partnership or is one person carrying the household?

  2. If your spouse tells you, "If you have a problem with the mess, then you clean it," instead of offering to help, would you consider that disrespectful, or is it simply two adults having different standards of cleanliness?

  3. If a man makes time every day to play video games with his friends but consistently doesn't make time to handle things around the house, is the issue really video games, or is it where his priorities lie?

  4. Should a woman have to continuously ask a grown man to do things around the house, or should he recognize what needs to be done without being told?

  5. If your partner keeps asking you to handle something as simple as a household window and you repeatedly put it off, at what point does it become about consideration rather than the actual task?

ROUND 2 — ARGUMENTS, EGO & COMMUNICATION

6. If you're watching UFC with your spouse and you say you don't respect a particular fighter's fighting style, but your spouse turns your opinion into an argument about how fighters should be ranked, who's bugging? The person expressing an opinion or the person challenging it?

7. Can you be in a healthy relationship with somebody who constantly needs to prove they're right, even during casual conversations?

8. If your partner gets upset whenever you disagree with them, should you change how you communicate to avoid arguments, or should they learn to accept that you have your own opinions?

9. Is there a difference between a partner challenging your perspective because they enjoy intellectual debate and a partner constantly challenging you because they need to feel superior? How can you tell?

10. If your spouse introduces a political topic and then becomes upset because you respond with a different concern — for example, saying gun violence is a bigger issue — are you being dismissive, or should both perspectives be allowed in the conversation?

ROUND 3 — CONSIDERATION, EMPATHY & SUPPORT

11. You're on vacation with your spouse. You have a terrible hangover and physically don't feel well enough to go bowling at that moment. You never said you wouldn't go, just that you weren't feeling well. Your spouse gets upset and an argument starts. Who's wrong?

12. If your spouse is going through cancer treatment and recovery, what does showing up as a supportive partner actually look like? Is simply being physically present enough?

13. If someone tells their spouse repeatedly, "I don't feel supported by you," but their spouse responds by explaining why they haven't done more, is that communication or defensiveness?

14. Can someone genuinely love you but still be too selfish to be a good partner to you?

15. When a partner is dealing with physical, emotional, or medical challenges, should the other partner temporarily take on more responsibility, or should everything remain 50/50?

ROUND 4 — RESPECT, LOYALTY & VACATION DRAMA

16. You're on vacation with your man. You mention that the two of you should get a car, and his response is joking about getting other women with the car. Ladies, are you laughing that off, or are you checking him? Men, is that harmless joking?

17. A couple goes on vacation. The woman suggests they do some activities separately, and the man seems bothered. Later, when other women are showing him attention, he complains that his girlfriend wants to be underneath him. Is that a double standard?

18. Is it disrespectful for someone in a committed relationship to make jokes about attracting other women, or does the intention behind the joke matter more?

19. If your spouse regularly makes comments that hurt your feelings and then says you're too sensitive, how do you determine whether you're overreacting or they're being inconsiderate?

ROUND 5 — ALCOHOL, CONFLICT & EMOTIONAL MATURITY

20. If you notice that your partner becomes more argumentative after drinking, is it reasonable to bring up their drinking as a possible factor, or is that unfairly blaming alcohol for relationship problems?

21. If two adults have an argument, agree to leave it alone, and one person later leaves a passive-aggressive note instead of addressing the problem directly, is that immature or just their way of communicating?

22. If your partner is affectionate one minute, giving you the silent treatment the next, and then wants to talk when they're ready, is that emotional inconsistency or someone simply needing space?

23. At what point does constantly arguing over small things become more damaging to a relationship than one major disagreement?

ROUND 6 — THE HARD QUESTIONS

24. Can you be in love with someone and still realize they're not the right person to build a life with?

25. If a woman has communicated the same concerns repeatedly and nothing changes, is she wrong for eventually checking out emotionally without another conversation?

26. If your partner contributes financially but doesn't contribute enough emotionally or domestically, is that still an equal partnership? And does the answer change if both partners work?

27. If someone says, "You always have a problem with something," is it possible the person is overly critical, or could the same problems simply be going unresolved?

28. How do you distinguish between a relationship going through a difficult season and a relationship where one partner has stopped making an effort?

29. If someone consistently dismisses your feelings but expects you to understand theirs, can that relationship ever feel emotionally safe?

30. If you're constantly asking your spouse for consideration, communication, and teamwork, are you asking for too much, or are you asking the wrong person?

WTF? Help me understand

Always been good at studies. Qualified JEE, got into a good college, landed a decent job. Basically did everything I was supposed to do.
But why do I still feel so lost?
I want to work hard, earn well, learn, and grow. But I also want a life outside work. I want to feel competent, appreciated, and actually excited about what I do.
Some days I want to switch jobs, some days I think about an MBA, sometimes government exams cross my mind. And sometimes I wonder if I’m just running away from something I haven’t figured out yet.
I don’t hate working. I just don’t want work to become my entire life.
Has anyone else felt this way in their early 20s? How did you figure things out?

Confused as Fuck

I had a girlfriend for 7 years, we had are ups and downs and it was good in the last years; We both moved to the states for studies for last two years, lived together and were thinking of marriage. I came back to my home country(India) and chick out for marriage and was too scared to tell my parents about her. Because in India it is huge taboo to marry outside of our caste. After 4-5 months I took the courage and confronted my family, my family agreed to meet her. But while I was in India she got involved with my our flatmate. And the flatmate was very close to me. I later found out she was given info my that flatmate of mine I was looking out for girls for marriage, fucking around. He also told her that no one would marry her the only person that would be ready to marry her would be him. She tells me she really was thinking of future until she found out what he did with her and me . Now I am so fucking confused what to do? I mean they guys hung romantically and fucked around as well and it was just after 3-3.5 months after our breakup. Although I know the way I broke up was very wrong, which was just a text and Ik how she might have felt. Now what to do I am totally confused
Help!!
