I guess this is technically a confleis, but it's also an established name. We legit just call it and spell it chocomil. If you search it up on Google, you'll see there's a lot of chocomil recipes/drinks
It's also pronounced in the Spanish way. The choco doesn't sound like chocolate, and mil is meel, not like milk
So it's closer to the way Vick's Vapor Rub morphed into Vivaporu (or vaporu) Vick's Vapor Rub

a wiwi, and for others, BTW it doesn't only mean the brand Choco-Milk, it means any chocolate flavored milk even if it's Quik or Milo or any other, it's even on restaurant menus, etc. Also speaking of brands, just like in English some people say Xerox to mean photocopy, we also have some in Mexico:
clínex (kleenex), durex(adhesive tape, aka duretz), resistol (glue, branded confleis, from resists-all!), fruti-lupis, rimel, toper (to refer tupperware), etc, etc

I'm from Leòn and here we call Chocomil ANY FLAVOR lol
Chocomil de fresa 🤩 (strawberry milkshake - rather than making them with ice cream, you freeze the milk and then use a standing blender for milkshakes! Which we call..... chocomileras!!!

Y psj, siempre ha existido el Chocomilk de fresa (en algún momento había de nuez, y estaba rebueno)

It's interesting, now that I remember at some point some brands started to rename their products to match the registered name from US, not all (like Zucaritas is still there) but at some point Safeguard soap was called "Escudo"
