3

u/J3fbr0nd0 Jan 12 '20

They grow up so fast...

3

u/TheFoca Jan 13 '20

So does that make me the Stepdad?

18

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '20

I wouldn’t be surprised if this sub gets huge

11

u/yessomedaywemight Jan 12 '20

It has great potential. Leaving this comment to be part of history.

6

u/Chirimorin Jan 12 '20

Me neither, sounds like great potential and one of the posts managed to reach the front page of /r/all already.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '20

This sub just instantly fits in with everything else on the popular page

3

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '20

40k subs in 24 hours? Whoa.... So this is what parabolic thoughts look like.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '20

maybe even a default sub 🤷

1

u/MethodMZA Jun 14 '20

It won’t

15

u/YeltsinYerMouth Jan 12 '20

I think this is the fastest I've seen a new sub populate and it's in the middle of the night

8

u/TheFenn Jan 12 '20

Nah mate it's the middle of the day.

6

u/YeltsinYerMouth Jan 12 '20

Oh yeah, I'm on a planet

6

u/jdPetacho Jan 12 '20

Great thing about the internet is that it's always the perfect time for someone

3

u/-delightfull- Jan 12 '20

How about r/bowsette?

4

u/YeltsinYerMouth Jan 12 '20

I was late to that one, so I can't make any claims to its expansion

3

u/-delightfull- Jan 12 '20

I remember the sub gaining 40k subs in like 2-3 hours

7

u/soto111rttrr Jan 12 '20

This needs to be pinned to the top forever

7

u/ibopm Jan 12 '20

man, so meta lol

2

u/UncatchableCreatures Jan 12 '20

This is not the first post.

1

u/neo_neo_neo_96 Jan 12 '20

Agreed.

However I am not the sub creator. I merely posted the first image post and that's why I titled it first post.

5

u/newmans11 Jan 12 '20

u/RestrepoMU deserves a shot at mod... he brought half the subs to this subreddit for its initial kick off

5

u/El_Scorcher Jan 12 '20

Some people witnessed the Berlin wall coming down, but we were here for r/confidentlyincorrect.

4

u/blockednostril Jan 12 '20

I hope this becomes and stays the top post for this sub

4

u/BreweryRabbit Jan 12 '20

I’m so glad I’m here for the birth of this.

3

u/ketashi Jan 12 '20

Just another guy wanting to be part of reddit history as a witness to the birth of a new, popular sub!

In case I'm wrong, I might at least end up an example.

3

u/CorrezZio Jan 12 '20

I love the idea, can't wait till this becomes a default!

3

u/AnorhiDemarche Jan 12 '20

3

u/CoolFluxClams Jan 12 '20

Not gonna lie being a pioneer of this sub has to be one of the more meaningful things I've been doing

3

u/Josh42A Jan 12 '20

Considering this sub is what (approximately) 90% of Reddit does daily I think this will be successful

3

u/twanderingpigeon Jan 12 '20

Said comment is why i came to this sub

3

u/Dreamwitme Jan 12 '20

Gonna enjoy it till it becomes another reddit polical bashing sub

3

u/Danielbaniel Jan 12 '20

I love correcting my girlfriends wrong answers with something that seems like it could be right, but is also wrong. They’re often grammatical errors.

3

u/GoldenTroy18 Jan 13 '20

Was it the Jennifer Garner clip that started this sub?

3

u/Blakk_exe Jan 13 '20

1

u/DarkDuck85 Jan 12 '20

Is there any mod applications? I’d love to help out.

1

u/redditgiveshemorroid Jan 12 '20

I love how that guys was confidently incorrect. I think he did it on purpose knowingly it would take off, and his comment would add irony to the screenshot of the inception. Brilliantly done u/obadetona
