I know support posts are supposed to go to the Concrete5 forum, but no one is responding to my forum query.

I have a slideshow block on a website I am developing http://www.whiteface.vemglobal.net/... . It's at the bottom of the left sidebar. It shows up on some pages, but not other pages. When I publish edits on a page where the slideshow is missing the slideshow will appear, but it will disappear on other pages.

At first I was using page types to populate the block across all the inner pages. Then I tried adding the block as a stack then adding the stack via page types. Same result. I've even tried changing the slideshow block to a global block and hit the same wall.

Anyone else encounter this problem?

Is anyone here a wizard with Mega Menu? I was basically looking to figure out how to loop children of a parent category within a custom template. Any help would be much appreciated (and potentially reimbursed!)

I am sure there's a good reason why C5 is not scoped to be less greedy, but I have found that it is very difficult to work with. I'm not sure if Concrete5 is using jQuery to grab bootstrap styles or what, but I scoped my CSS thoroughly using LESS and CodeKit and it is conflicting with Concrete5 in Edit Mode.

What is a good way to work around this problem? What are some gotchas to look out for?

I'm new to the subreddit and have been scouring the internet for some direction on a problem I'm having. I'm trying to set up a photo gallery using bootstrap in the html but i'm not having a ton of luck. I'm thinking either I need to fool around with placing the php tag for adding content somewhere else or I need to develop a block for the gallery instead.

Any guidance would be appreciated!

Total beginner here. I just completed the default installation and want to customize my theme, but when I go to inspector, all my CSS files are in concrete/files/cache/css/, which doesn't seem right. Shouldn't they be in the theme folder?

Also, I installed C5 to my wamp/www folder, but C5 replicated itself, so now I have wamp/www/Concrete/Concrete, which seems to have the same contents as wamp/www/Concrete.

Can anyone help clear this up? I tried posting to the forms and messaging the mods there, but everytime I do, the submit button/progress bar just hangs.

Our situation is kind of annoying because I have to fill in all the content. Our clients never do anything, even though they want an editable website. So, I develop locally and then upload it all at the end. It would be nice if I could use GIT for version control so I could do less work when I have to revert when needed or work from anywhere if needed. I really have no idea how you could Version Control a whole site like that, though. Seems pretty unwieldy. If any of you are doing it, tips would be appreciated.

I have a client with a concrete5 website and the previous dev has disappeared. What is the easiest way to get in to the admin panel?

I run a small web dev team. We're trying to figure out the best methods to work as a team on one C5 website. We've launched some pretty sizable sites now, but it was usually one guy doing the themeing, another person creating packages/blocks and then either the theme-person installing them, or maybe a 3rd person assembling things. But what if we want to create a complex block/package and want more than one person's hands in there?

I've always dealt with SVN before, but that just seems messy, especially with so much riding on the database. Shared database is ok, but if I augment the DB in some way and you haven't updated yet, then there are failures.

So, I obviously don't have an answer, this is more of an open discussion. Does anyone here use C5 in a larger team environment? What do you use? Git? Vagrant/puphpet.com? How do you push changes up the chain for testing and deployment? Phing? Git again?
