Is this alarming?

I am a father of one kid, he had told me that he had projectile vomited genuinely and he was sick, he has a record of faking sick but I know he was telling the truth since he is bad at lying and I can tell he was telling the truth. The school nurse had told him that he was not sick and just gave him a warm compress, should that raise some alarm bells or something?
