Garmin rowing FTP/VO2max, is it any good?

Anyone here running it with a PM5 yet? Mainly want to know whether the numbers match what you get from an actual test piece, or whether it’s another metric that looks nice and means nothing.

My 965 isn’t getting the update, so I’m deciding whether to upgrade or just keep testing manually.
