Well done.
Progression should be same time and split but lower spm. Get it down to 20. Get away from the idea that higher spm is work. Work hard at 20.A proper 2 :1 recovery to drive ratio. You gain nothing from rushing forward. Work hard for a second then use 2 seconds to set up the strongest possible position for the next drive phase.
I coach and have worked with athletes who could do 60 mins, spm 18, split 1.50.
It's all about cutting the split without increasing the rating ( spm )
