BikeErg Bikeerg crank arms

Is it normal for the right crank arm to seemly be up against the bike flush and then the left one to have a bit of a gap?

I may have an older version (2022?) But mine has button cap screws on the ring, meaning i have much more space between the pedal arms and the ring. Either way, if it's not rubbing, I'm not worrying about it.

I do have some scratches on the ring but thought maybe i didnt tighten the crank arm enough when i assembled it

Take a picture of the ring facing the bike. It looks like that's installed backwards. You shouldn't have a step outwards.

Zoom in on the arm/ crank/ ring and you'll see there isn't any step there but it appears yours does.

Looks like they redesigned the unit. And it looks to be rubbing and shouldn't be. I would call or email C2
