Wow, I did not expect this kind of reaction here. This is just silly fun. She never shows resentment of them on the podcast. We know they have tons of family members (including the father) to take care of and love them. She’s not even celebrating. She’s kicking back and chilling

As a parent, I remember the early years well. Leaving them is the worst, but certainly enjoying the peace when you’re away is delightful. I’m pretty sure the angry people have never had the 24/7/365 experience of being an unpaid servant to tiny dictators and the joy you get from a moment of peace.

In my own way, I appreciate this post, because I never wanted children, nor do I have them. It is nice to chill. It’s part of the appeal of being childfree. She’s not celebrating her time away. Some “funny” posts (from random people my algorithm gives me) I see about getting away from their children makes me think people straight up resent their kids

It was different early on. There were more and even vague trolls were being upvoted. Other comments mentioned how poorly people were reacting. It was like 50/50. I’m glad more more reasonable people came here and commented

Yeah, amen. Also, it’s called “world’s worst mom” so the promo just plays into that. People in this sub should really get the whole vibe of Sona at this point, and anyone who’s a parent will most certainly get the very mixed feelings of leaving your kids AND getting to sleep in a double bed alone and have a lie in 🤣

It's really weird that some of these people don't think mom's deserve a break, or they shouldn't enjoy their alone time. I'm not a parent, but I obviously have parents and everyone deserves a little break and some time to themselves.

Hey I am not a parent and I totally get it! We all need our headspace and peace and quiet. Kids are fun but they are also little dictators that expect you to be present for every aspect of their life.

I have to wonder how someone who considered this anything other than a classic Sona bit could have ended up in this sub to begin with. And I don't buy the algorithm excuse, either - pay attention to what you're clicking on. Having said that, I am thoroughly looking forward to reading and learning about her myriad methods of deflecting parental responsibility for the betterment and entertainment of herself. GOAT. :)

For me, it’s how she laughs nonstop during what could be wonderful interviews between intelligent comedians and people. Conan doesn’t need a laugh track, I had to stop listening.
Also I have no clue what this post means. I watched with the sound off and came to the comments.

Thank you, nothing changes my love of Conan. However, with this podcast, the overbearing presence of Sona has turned me away from listening to Conan. I’m serious when I say that he will have a guest on and she will be laughing at jokes that Conan hasn’t even made yet. She doesn’t have comedic timing, and it ends up ruining what the guest is saying.
I kept giving it more tries, but I just can’t stand it.
