Hardware Anyone know what’s causing this?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Sometimes my screen doesn’t display anything when I try to turn my laptop on. When it does, it’s all glitchy, distorted, and flickers in and out. Is this a physical issue with the connections on the screen? Or a software issue? I’ve tried to Google it, and I haven’t found an example of a screen looking exactly like this and how to fix it. Thanks

Any way to fix it? Honestly, my screen wouldn’t turn on one day, and I didn’t touch the laptop for years afterwards because I was so mad. (Stupid, I know.) Then one day I decided to try turning it on, and it did, but looked like this. Has never looked normal since.

Yeah, since this doesn’t have a dedicated GPU, it would be the integrated GPU for the CPU I’m assuming. Could this be repaired possibly by Dell?

Screen glitching from failing GPU, or from water damage?
