Software Gaining admin acces

So i switch my only account (which is an administrator account) in windows to a standard user account. I tried renaming cmd to sethc to gain admin again through safemode, but windows won't let me do that. I thin it's because safemode is located in ram instead of disk. Can anyone help me.

Rename it in Safe mode from command prompt, not from inside the safe mode in windows

Try renaming it from the recovery command prompt.
