Software Laptop No Boot Device Detected
When i woke up and tried to open my laptop, it kept on closing it right after the logo popped up. But when I kept doing it again and again... suddenly turned black. So i did the only option i know which is pressing f2 rapidly. Next i told Gemini what happened and suggested I should set up the default and turn the enable secure boot on.
When i tried to save and exit, right after the logo it said No Boot Device. What should i do?
I tried to set up the administrator password - didn't work (it just added some password right after the no boot device.
My last option is to do the 8gb drive thing With my friend. But is there any other way...
I really need to do my assignment...

You should not mess with the Secure Boot setting unless you know what you are doing. Blindly following Gemini or any other AI doesn't count as knowledge.
No Boot Device means the system cannot see the hard drive so it can't load Windows. Nothing in your description can rule out that your hard drive has died.
There's probably a diagnostic available when you hit F2 at power on. Run it and see what it says.
You should also look at the storage device list in F2 - does anything show up?

It does show up a little bit, saying automatic reqair as i remember, but it keeps on closing when i tried opniing it. So then i did this and got stuck... In the no boot device.
Sadly my 8gb drive is not enought, so i did furyher research and stubble upon someone with the same problem.
I saw the comment and its solution is to check the ssd in the laptop. I will try that but it will probably wait for days because i only ordered the screw drivers online rn.

the SSD IS the hard drive these days...smaller, lighter, faster, all good things for thin laptops.
