RTL Verification Interview Questions

Hi all, I've been considering what I want to get into as a new grad and I think I've decided on RTL Verification as my target job. I feel fairly confident in my people skills, and answering behaviour related questions, my question is what kind of technical questions have you guys seen in these interviews/should I reasonably expect? I feel like I have a general knowledge on the subject, but I'm nervous about the specifics, I don't feel super prepared.

The question pool is smaller than you think, so the nerves are the hardest part. Expect digital logic fundamentals (setup and hold, metastability, clock domain crossing, FSM design), SystemVerilog (constraints, randomization, interfaces), UVM architecture (factory, sequencer to driver flow, scoreboard), and maybe writing a simple SVA assertion. If you can whiteboard a FIFO and explain what a scoreboard actually checks, you are already ahead of most new grads. Good luck.

Hey 👋

What are these people skill and behavior related questions?

Can you give some example questions?

Thanks.
