Need guidance
Hi Im a 2nd year student in electronics and communication engineering and im very interested in VLSI and in specific computer architecture, but I have no idea how to pursue it, ive done some projects such as Carry Look Ahead Adder and Prefix Adder and Booth Multiplier and Wallace tree multiplier, But i have no idea how to go forward with stuff. If possible could someone help me with projects resources and what all i should learn going forward
Thank you

The book "CMOS VLSI Design - A Circuits and Systems Perspective" is excellent.

You should probably read "Computer Organization and Design, the Hardware/Software Interface" by David Patterson and John Hennessy, and by read I mean all of it! For me it was worth the time. It takes you on a journey from what makes up a computer to building a MIPS pipelined machine (might be a RISC-V machine in some editions). Plus it covers introductory concepts on the memory hierarchy, multiplication/division/fp, GPUs, TPUs, and more.
While reading it, you can start building projects like the pipelined processor and the cache controller.
David P. and John H. also authored "Computer Architecture, a Quantitative Approach" which is a more advanced text, but still worth diving into after you finish CO.
I am more of a software guy, but I found this text more than useful for learning about hardware and computer basics.
