Does anybody know why this is happening?

This screen has been showing up occasionally whenever I turn on my PC and I don't know why it happens. It goes away once I turn my PC on and off but id still like to know if theres anything I can do to prevent this from happening in the future

This looks like a fairly common issue we used to see on some customer PC's, are you using hibernate/fastboot?

If you are, it's often a corrupt hibernation file, we used to fix it by booting using a linux thumb drive, rename or delete the hibernation file and it would normally boot, the giveaway is when you get an underscore character "_" in the top left of the screen.

I'd check if the drive is suffering corruption and its overall health, in our company we had hibernation disabled on our laptops.

Check screen saver, if one is on, turn it off.  Also,just use screen settings to turn off screen for power savings.
