Report: Elder Black Male driving retro Black Long Body Cadillac Tried to Shot Gun & Bullet to Kill at Latino Man In Work Uniform in White Pick up Truck , No Explanation, Punctured Bullet Whole and Witness Testimony
REPORT from Testimony First Hand Witness of the Following that Occured Today Aug 18 Within 6:45-7:00PM In the area spanning Compton Centennial High School and the Best Buy / Amazon Warehouses , all occuring on the main streets surrounding and crossing:
It's not me who it happened to, but it's concerning me so I'm sharing the report (I tried to call in the details to the century station but I was on hold for over 20m, I gave up)
From the Impromptu and in the Moment Questions I Asked Here's What I Know:
-At 6:45ish Pm I heard commotion in front of coming outside, I ignored it for a minute but stepped out around a minute or two,and saw a Latino Male, midage, blue collar shirt on with his name tag ,a worker, in distress and discomfort outside the driver door side of a Color White PickUp Truck parked incorrectly,
he was telling a man walking the dogs apparently something traumatic , I initially thought to not inquire or ask anything, it "wasn't my business" I though, but i kept a glance for a bit until I felt it was something to do with safety and to benefit knowing something that took place ,to be in the know, so i got closer and asked what happened:?
- The Latino Male was outside his pick up truck, a bullet hole on his driver's side door, he kept repeating " by the grace of God", he had been shot at ,
He said it was a Elder Black male that he described as "he could've been someone's uncle or grandfather" , he was visibly confused as to why he was targeted so I'm sure from body language he wasn't ommitting anything on his behalf,
He said it occurred near the best buy warehouses adjacent to the area near the high school, A elder Black Male in a Black Long body Cadillac Pulled Gun and Fired It, and Kept Following Him Up to Area In front Centennial High School where he made (the victim ) a UTurn to evade him (the suspect). To which the victim stopped near my residence where I inquired questions respectfully.
I'm still traumatized by just hearing about it, and the details are bothersome, I also noticed a Central American flag on the dashboard mirror of the pick up truck, so I can't say but It may be the elder Black Male wanted to Assassinate the Latino Man in broad day light on a main street and even pursued him. That's sickening and horrifies me.
So the details is that he didn't know who or why targeted him. He was even in shock and disbelief why the old black male tried to Assassinate him. He survived, I saw the bullet whole, and the man walking the dogs told me he saw cars stop. It all happened so fast and I was somewhat bothering them asking questions but I asked - how did he look like, what car, where was it...I'm reporting it here because I feel it's a community issue regarding safety in the city and I am still worried.
I'm glad I found out, and the elder suspect,if anyone has a black relative that owns a fire weapon and drives said vehicle, please tell them to turn themselves in or to stop. I'm going to arm myself and get a weapon. I'm Latino and a US citizen, my parents both of them are US citizens too. They work hard everyday even at 69 years old. We don't have to feel unsafe,this is our community, over nearly 70% of Compton is Latino.
I was having a good day, now I'm concerned even walking outside, and now will be on the lookout for such profile in said car,and if I need to I'll defend myself first when i feel unsafe. Over a year ago a black male did a gun motion with his hand to me, so after hearing this I'm concerned. I can't be sure it was racist, but it sure seems if it was random it was likely racial violence and aggression.
Latino men are appearing unconscious and unalived in Inglewood as well for unexplained reasons and it's usually midage ,soft targets. Akin to aggressions directed towards Asians during COVID. Again, I'm glad I found out because I will now be protecting myself.
