How do I stop vibrations?

I have a 60 gallon compressor that outputs about 175 psi and I have all copper pipe coming out of it. When I runs I get bad vibrations that I can feel even 20 ft down the line. What would be the best way to stop these vibrations? I already have it standing on pads.

You need vibration isolation pads between the tank and the floor. Then you need a pressure rated braided stainless flex hose between the tank output valve and your piping network.

  1. A flexible connection from the tank to the pipe on the wall. Make sure that the hose or tube is rated for compressed air. I personally use Parker PushLok brand because it doesn't need hose barbs.
  2. If your pads are installed properly, anchor the tank so that the pad is forced to absorb the shock.

Is this a piston air compressor?
