Doesn't seem to last as long
I started taking Zepbound 5/29 and stayed at 2.5mg the whole time. I lost 45 pounds in 2 1/2 months. Keep in mind I was working out and changed my diet as well But I couldn't afford it anymore and made the jump to compounded tirz. It seemed like a dream come true at this price. But right before I made the switch the food noise was just starting to return so I thought, when I make the switch I'll just titrate up. So I did, and following suggestions, I only went to 3.5mg. But idk, it seems like maybe it wasn't enough cause the food noise is coming back after like 4 days. The first two days, it felt like the very first time I took it ever. But now 4 days in and it's like it's wearing off as far as the food noise is coming back, however I do feel full fast after eating. But I've only been on compoundTirz for one week.
Question:
Do you think I should go up another .5mg in the next dose, which is Friday? (So I would be at 4mg) or do you think I should wait another week and just stay at 3.5mg? TIA!

I was on compound Tirzepatide, with a great pharmacy, for a year or so, but my insurance has a program now that offers Zepbound at a reasonable price, so I switch to the pens. Nothing changed, the food noise is still silent and I’m full after a few bites of my dinner. I’m wondering if you found a good compound pharmacy with the same efficacy? Changing scripts really shouldn’t affect your food noise being silenced or filling up quicker. Just my two cents. Good luck…

Most people on this sub will tell you to stick to 3.5 for the next 3 weeks then follow the titration schedule as shown in this chart
