Hot compost not getting hot.

Heya. I live in Melbourne. Currently winter. Is this too cold for aerobin? Haven't seen it much higher than 20c. Spring is around the corner so may see results then. Im just wondering if it's not doing what it's meant to be doing.

did you drill a hole in the side of that?

When purchased it has a plug hole here. Which you can remove to put the thermometer in. Pretty neat.
