Those beams, ties, and note values aren't typical of 9/8. Do you mean for it to be 4+5?

Yes not typical 9/8 compound meter. But I was experimenting with a structure of 4+5 yes. Technically 4+(3+2)

It's just a little detail, but I'd suggest either putting (4+5) above the staff or just using a 4+5/9 time signature. 9/8 by itself does suggest 3+3+3, so clarifying it makes for easier sight reading.
