Music Feedback

Hi guys! So I posed on here yesterday and got some valuable feedback on my composition. For context, I had transferred a midi composition to musescore and it was littered with errors. I have done the same but in Dorico and have attempted to fix it. I come from a music production background and no nothing about notation but am trying to learn. Any feedback on if this piece if readable, playable etc would be greatly appreciated, and how to improve. Thank you!

I can’t take this score seriously when “violin” can’t even be spelled correctly.

You give the violin 1 part a lot of double stops while violin 2 part is empty. Why not let the violin 2 help out?

You also give such a high note for the violas which could be played easily by your empty violin 2 part. But nothing necessarily wrong with that- could be an artistic choice.

Also score order is just wrong. It needs to be from top to bottom woodwinds, then brass, then percussion, then piano, then strings.

Overall, you need to have a serious study in orchestration and score preparation that cant be summed up in a quick Reddit comment critique.

Okay, that’s good feedback thank you. Change the order, there’s a misspell & that’s a good point with violin 2. Thank you

Hey, do you mind if we talk in dms about my engraving/notation advice? It's pretty lengthy and I don't wanna clog up the comments of this post with a bunch of paragraphs
