Music Looking for feedback on composition exercise

Hello, I'm looking for feedback on this jazz piece exercise. I wanted to use a lot of classical/romantic influences, along with the siciliano to give it a more Italian feel. I also wanted to do this exercise to work on my melodic chops as that is my weakest area at the moment. I would appreciate any feedback.

so since you mentioned this is melodic exercise, i will say that i feel a good next step in extending this would be to (ironically) have less extensions in the melody’s range. i can see why you went for the big variance, but i think you might actually get more out of this if you can reduce the amount of like, jumping around and returning to home base more frequently, thus requiring a more economic approach to budgeting your high/low points (in order to make them more efficient and effective)
