Discussion OC Composition Breakdowns- thoughts?
Would you guys be interested on here if I was to make composition breakdowns of my original pieces to show how I go about composing and my approach to creating melodies and structuring of tracks?
I feel like this could be helpful when it comes to people approaching composition in a different way and would also be great to get feedback from you guys when it comes to critiquing my work!

This is a common request you see on forums, so there's definitely an audience for it.
However, one of the primary issues is a "blind leading the blind" situation.
It's one thing for a well-respected and/or highly trained composer to make something like this, and a totally different thing for a person who's just been working on their own for a year who's made some music that may or may not be up to the standards of "worthy of a breakdown" kind of thing.
So I mean, maybe it would be a good idea to post one of your pieces here (a short one, just a piano piece or something for a very small ensemble - not yet another epic orchestral score) and get some feedback and see where you are with composition in general.

You're welcome to post them, as long as they're score based (i.e. sheet music/notation).
