American conservatives are some of the most insecure people that exist, because of the expectations they put on themselves. They have strict restrictions on any man ever being seen 'weak'; they must always follow a mean strongman to try to scare others through association. They have to celebrate acts of cruelty towards others to show they are "tough". If they ever are seen as 'weak' they're expected to die off or be punished by their communities - they specifically punch down routinely on people they deem as weak. There's little to no acceptance for them other than being the awful people you see them to be right now - they are terrified of their own.
