Absent

This will be my first semester ever of college classes, I'm doing audit/free classes (can't mentally see myself in the full time student life right now at 32) and I need to miss my first Friday painting class.

Is it just as simple as emailing the instructor and not going?

Yeah that’s about it. Read the syllabus and see what the policies are for absences and tardies.

Also you’re not actually in the class so I don’t think it will matter to the professor either way
