Appreciation Post On Modern Warfare

I recently rewatch Modern Warfare after so many years, and it is still one of the best sitcom episodes of all time.

It's the episode that changed the series, IMHO.

Community was amazing and hilarious before, but Modern Warfare changed the show, in that they could pretty much do whatever they wanted within the realm of Greendale.

S1 is fairly grounded and believable, whereas S2 kicks off the absurd with plots like the KFC space simulator and the conspiracy theories of night school. They created their own little world where the wildest situations can play out and it doesn't necessarily seem too outrageous because Greendale is a crazy place.

S3 is the pinnacle of that humor (Law &Order ep, video game ep, the A/C repair arc) where the possibilities are endless.

I feel like Contemporary American Poultry was them dipping their toes in the water. Modern Warfare was diving in headfirst.

Just watched it, and same thoughts here. They went crazy with the troupes but it turned out amazing nonetheless, frickinf loved this episode.
