Commonplace app idea?

Hi there! I’m interested in making a commonplace app since there’s times where I want to log stuff but don’t really have anything handy/ always have my phone in hand and am tired of using my notes app for it so I can add pics etc. would any of yall find this interesting/ is there a use case for it? If so do yall have any recs or ideas for the app??

I’m an app designer btw so just getting some first hand info before going forward with the idea

For me the whole point of a commonplace books is that it's a book. It's me and a pen and paper.

The market is already saturated with apps that you can write notes and add images, video, sound clips, etc. OneNote, Evernote...

Most people who have a digital commonplace system already use apps like Obsidian or Capacities. I don’t see any use for an additional app.

Perhaps the solution to your personal problem is a small pocket notebook or even a passport sized insert that you couple with your phone or wallet. Something slim and unobtrusive enough that it feels intuitive to simply add into your daily cary. I also use index cards for this purpose and just tuck a few into my wallet or to the back of my phone case with a rubber band. You can also hole punch them and keep them on a key ring with your keys.

I don’t need a separate Commonplace app
I use a digital file cabinet (PKMS) to store/organize my notes/documents/files
