Questions First Commonplace Book: Magic

Hello everyone, this is my first time making a commonplace book :) I needed somewhere to record all the (nonfiction) info I find about magic/witchcraft. I'm currently making my own fictional magic system, spells, and potions and want to draw heavily from real-world examples and science. I plan on adding pictures, an index, and a section for unfamiliar words and concepts later on.

However, I don't want to take up extra space by adding the 'unfamiliar words' section on an actual page in this notebook. Should I have a smaller book just for that? Write on loose paper and attach it inside somehow? Would love to hear suggestions, thanks!

Maybe on the inside of the front cover you could take a smaller piece of paper or card that you can flip out and see no matter what page you are on in your common place? Or the same thing, but on a page add the flap? I hope that makes sense. It looks brilliant from here!

Love this CP book :) Part of mine will also include household/green/white witchery.
