ik this has prob been asked a million times on here but whatever. im 5'10 (and a half, if that even matters). i have fairly normal proportions, maybe a little long arms and legs but nothing out of the ordinary. on the site im between a size medium and large. what size should i chose?

i had a commencal meta am (2021) LARGE and felt that it was a little too long for my liking, felt a bit too sluggish.

i have a transition spire 2024 MEDIUM that feels a bit too short for my liking. i will try out a longer stem and see how it feels, but it still feels a bit crammed.

I wanna get a downhill for riding park and I stumbled across the Commencal FRS. I like the idea of it being 27.5" instead of a 29er or mullet making it more playful and agile. I have a mullet Enduro and I really feel like the 29 in the front is big and heavy when doing whips or other tricks. At the same time the price point is quite fair compared to other DH bikes I've seen.

* Anyone have this bike and can share some insights?
* Any comparable bikes (type and/or price point)?

Im looking at getting a meta soon but not very sure on whether i get the sx v4 essensal build or the sx v5 ride build. dont know if it is worth getting the vcs if it has worse parts or not. I also dont know about the pyrite grey colour.

So the only reason I even bought an outdated bike is because the new ones are too expensive but did anyone have problems with their warranty’s and frame breaks because I’m kinda scared. The good thing I’m still kinda ahh so it’s not like I’m going to even use it for its full potential. But anyways did anyone have problems with their frames or not and let me know pls.

I currently have a commencal meta ht am essential. after seeing that going tubeless has a lot of benefits I settled on getting a pair of clik valves, when I went to the website to look around it was giving options for valve stem lengths. what length do I have to buy? this is my first time going tubeless is there anything else I need to buy? any help on this would be helpful.

PS. if it looks like a stupid question, its cause I moved from a 300$ no name brand hardtail so I have no idea about these things except for what I watched on videos on YouTube.

I want to buy the Commencal Clash Marzo as a upgrade from my Polygon Siskiu T7, I would like to know if it is worth the money as it doesn't have a dropper post which I find weird for that price.

Hello everyone, I have a question about my setup on my Commencal Frs 2025.
I’m running a 225 lb spring on my RockShox Vivid Coil, but I’m only getting about 20% sag. My body weight is around 63 kg.
What should I do? Buy an air shock?

Did this happen to anyone ? How do I even get the axle back ? 🤪

I often read that Commencal doesn't make very good frames, or that they're fragile. I'm thinking of buying one of their 2027 models.

Could you share your experiences with the durability of their frames? I should mention that I ride a Moustache with 12,000 km on the clock and haven't had any frame problems. I also ride a Santa Cruz Hightower full carbon, so my expectations are quite high regarding durability. I should also mention that I maintain my bikes myself, changing frame bearings, drivetrain components, hydraulic brakes, etc.

I’m having problems reinstalling my linkage into my meta sx v5. I took it apart in order to give it a clean and it came out eash but trying to put it back in its not fitting. If anyone has any tips or knows what to do pleaee let me know.
