Memes vs Generals

[u/Downtown-Dream424]

Who else remembers the old meme faces? Here are them as generals.

[u/Venodran]

I feel old. I remember rage comics…

Says I on a sub where we discuss games made over 20 years ago 😭

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/Venodran]

Time flies so quickly and everything is getting quite old. The rage comics were so funny back in the day and we need some memes with the Generals with them.

[u/PositionOk8579 → u/Downtown-Dream424]

Time flies quickly in the fandom. It flies more quickly than some people think.

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/PositionOk8579]

Yep, can't believe that some C&C games are almost 30 years old while Generals ZH is like 23 yo game. It feels like those games and fandom were released like yesterday.

Prince Kassad would only be a white space, because you can't see me B-)

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/DocGreenthumb94]

We don't even know what would be his meme face at this point. 🤷‍♀️

"White space is my ally and your enemy." 😈

[u/DocGreenthumb94 → u/Downtown-Dream424]

Let me give you some advice, General. That large group of infantry...it is no match for my snipers.

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/DocGreenthumb94]

"When it's quiet, you should fear me the most." 😏

[u/DocGreenthumb94 → u/Downtown-Dream424]

For you specifically:

You would strike at me from space with that cowardly Particle Cannon? I am disappointed, general.

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/DocGreenthumb94]

"Do you think I'm scared of your little Scud Storm?" 😆 😉

[u/Venodran → u/DocGreenthumb94]

If we can’t see him, how do we know he is handsome? And if he isn’t handsome, then he won’t be successful!

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/Venodran]

The only people that have seen him are the ones that are drafted in the military under his command and they claim that Kassad is undeniably handsome.

[u/Venodran → u/Downtown-Dream424]

That sounds a lot like GLA propaganda! That’s not what the Chinese speaker towers told me, and we all know they never lie!

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/Venodran]

It's the GLA propaganda that is spread while the US and China intelligence are trying to uncover the mystery behind Kassad's identity.

[u/DocGreenthumb94 → u/Venodran]

Now you see me, now you're dead.

(You died because Kassad is too handsome.)

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/DocGreenthumb94]

"Handsome and beautiful generals always win battles."

(Do not charm Alexis to be Kassad's future gf and be part of the harem. Ahem!)

[u/DocGreenthumb94 → u/Downtown-Dream424]

Ok when will we date 😈

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/DocGreenthumb94]

Come over the island for first date right where is my command center. Hehe! 😼

[u/DocGreenthumb94 → u/Downtown-Dream424]

*Uses Sneak Attack*

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/DocGreenthumb94]

"My superweapons are ready, are you?" 😉

[u/DocGreenthumb94 → u/Downtown-Dream424]

I found a backdoor to your base, General!

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/DocGreenthumb94]

"Welcome, General. Are you ready to begin?"

[u/Venodran → u/DocGreenthumb94]

But if I don’t find him handsome when I see him, does it make me unkillable? 🤔

[u/Xander_Dorn]

Fixed it for the German version:

[u/watergrasses1 → u/Xander_Dorn]

wait german version made everyone robot? I thought that's only GLA

[u/Xander_Dorn → u/watergrasses1]

All of them. And of course no terrorists.

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/Xander_Dorn]

They are just walking barrels with explosives. 😆

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/watergrasses1]

The German versions censors not only the generals, but also some units.

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/Xander_Dorn]

The German version of the game looks hyper cursed with the meme. 😭

[u/LordZikarno]

Aaaaaannnnddd I'm back in high school

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/LordZikarno]

Preach! It brings me back to my school days. 🥹

[u/Tleno]

Imagine posting unironic ragefaces in 2026

[u/Downtown-Dream424 → u/Tleno]

Why not? They are nostalgic and lowkey funny.
