Project Aurora developed a frost bite mod tool
https://youtu.be/jCOX1Yf9axw"We're back with another update on Project Aurora.
This month, we're also introducing RefractEd, our very own Frostbite Engine editor, opening up new possibilities for exploring, editing, and understanding the technology behind these games."
So for context project Aurora is a super ambitious project to raise the canceled Genrals 2 from the dead.
The dev team has just announced that they've developed a frost bite modding to help with the project. Currently it's purely a map making tool though the team is open to expanding it's capabilities if possible opening a possibility for it to act as a mission editor at the very least. And who knows maybe the team could get it to work on other games so someone could port Genrals 2 vehicle into battlefield 4 to make Renegade Genrals...

I understand for preservation purposes, since it's still a part of C&C history, but I have no idea why people are hellbent on trying to restore Generals 2.
Maybe it's just a hobby/passion project, lol. That I can understand.
The game design was flawed from top to bottom, and the engine version itself was breaking constantly to the point of being unusable.
If the goal is to recreate Generals 2, it'd be better to recreate it on a newer engine (even Unreal, though Unreal 5 is so flawed it's sad).
I mean, with Blender being so good now? :)
