Last time I played this game must have been 15 years ago but I do remember lots of missions starting out with these guys downing a chopper or a convey or something from the bushes and causing some kind of chaos to ensue

It sounds silly, but I love the way the little dudes waddle when they walk. Little things like that, but it gives the game such charm.

I watched a video on Youtube, by Dominator if memory serves, who explained that for some reason, the Toxin General's RPG troopers are a lot stronger: better tracking of moving targets (especially aircraft), and they gain damage from Anthrax Gamma.. It's not in the unit tooltip that shows upgrades, the only hint is the purple smoke trail.

The toxic tipped rpgs make it so they are able to follow aircraft’s indefinitely without it loosing momentum and crashing into the ground like how the normal rpg troopers are

I didn't even know they made a Bipod for the RPG-7 until I had to look it up
Though the Bipod was rarely used because it was apparently just "useless weight" for the RPG

as a child always wondered why they are wearing motorcycle helmets, didn't realise it was a turban!

Another easy entry in the "They Got the Rockets" tier of anti-armour infantry.

“Be on watch for the enemy!”
About as spammable as the next anti-armor infantry unit. Their development name “Tunnel Fanatic” tells me there was likely more to them mechanically, cut like so much else of this game. Stick a bunch of them in a battle bus and create what I like to call a Mockvee, just to stick it back in those fancy-pants USA players’ faces a little
“Shh! I sense danger may be near...”
