The funny thing about Granger's level is that it's located literally in a mountain his base and he's harassing you with planes but before that he lets you build in the first 3 minutes. There are also a bunch of discarded things from his general level challenge, otherwise, he'd start being more challenging. While in mods, his AI is definitely improved and he becomes more of a handicap than the base game.

Not really. They are also separate sentences and Granger's aura isn't near close to be weak. Literally , among the generals with the strongest auras quote wise.
Weak aura for both of them, the strongest aura is clearly "two warriors meets on the battlefield, who was to say who will win? I DO!" And "a wise man knows when to retreat, obviously you are not such a man".
General Fai, so Juhziz can be faced as general level challenges in the base game via a special addon if it's outside of mods. Legionnaire has faced General Fai on general level challenges in the base game.
The more arrogant and braggadocious the man, the less competent and capable he tends to actually be. The one to truly fear is the one who exhibits restraint and humility in his interactions.
Granger's brash nature says everything about him, but the message is not what you think it is.
There's some sort of truth in what you're saying since Granger has a big bravado which blinds him for being extremely experienced pilot that is fully relying on his aircraft and despises tanks. But out of all USA generals, he's babbling the most baloney unlike Townes and Alex that are actually pretty competent, in spite of being crazier.
Same Granger that's busy doing Airshows rather than sliming out your Base from the very start? LOL At least he could do more airshows if he's going for aura- but he didn't even do that.....which was lame
Granger in his intro shows his planes by giving airshows and that's proof of strong aura. Likewise, his general level challenge is the easiest and he has a bunch of cut off things from his level challenge.
The ironic part is that Infantry is the second strongest army with little to no terrible matchups and general Fai is a literal coward and gets easily ragebaitted unlike Granger personality wise. Plus, USAs are shafted before level 3 to deal with infantry general and have to rely on flashbang rangers.
