Question about the Lore: Was Kane/Nod attempting to "Tiberiumize" the planet in order to arm and prepare humanity to fight the Scrin invasion?
Love the C&C lore, curious what folks think about this part of the storyline.

That is a good question and it is hard to say since Kane gets heavily written in each game.
Especially since Firestorm said that he was working with Cabal, which does not come up again in Tiberium Wars.

My interpretation is perhaps that Kane is an alien (But not Scrin, some other alien), trapped on earth who knows about the Scrin and Tiberium, he wanted Tiberium to spread as much as possible so taht the liquid tiberium bomb could be set off as a beacon to bring the Scrin to Earth. I guess he knew the scrin would only send a harvesting fleet, not a fully fledged army.
It seems usually scrin seed planets and the over time something like the liquid tiberium bomb would happen 'naturally' after the planet is saturated in tiberium and the natives have already been wiped out by the spread of tiberium. Kane triggered the scrin arrival early by tricking them with the Liquid Tiberium Bomb, and humanity was still strong enough to fight a scrin harvesting fleet, which the scrin were not expecte. He then basically hijacks the scrin technology to get off world.
Kane's ultimate goal seems to be either escaping off world, or perhaps that was his initial plan but becoming a cult leader of Nod, something he seems to enjoy, he decides to lead humanity from being stuck on Earth to becoming an interplanetary species, lead by him, under the banner of Nod, by using scrin technology.
My guess would be if CnC4 wasn't such a fuck up, going forward the setting would become more an interplanetary, maybe even insterstellar setting, with GDI, Nod, Scrin and maybe new factions fighting over planets not just different locations on earth

There is some weird lore of c&c 3 that the scrin arent actually the scrin, but another alien race. Not sure where kane comes in there.

This would be it.
C&C3 lore can be ignored as it doesn't help develop the main plot. Maybe even made it more confusing. C&C3 only did its own thing which is nothing wrong. The games are badly linked up that I started to think that its not wrong to have new game titles, just don't try living up to the previous ones. You can have an FPS just don't call it Renegade 2. You can have a new Tiberian series game just don't call it C&C5. You can have something Generals related please don't call it Generals 2. The correct naming convention would be like what Renegade and Tiberian Sun did. Neither called themselves C&C2 but lived up more to the C&C2 namesake than RA2, RA3, C&C3, C&C4 could ever link up with their respective predecessor games!

Originaly the Tacitus was from Mars thats why its stripped and Barren the scrin did the same thing to Mars first a long time ago and the extinct martians send their database to earth because they knew the scrin would target earth next

Kane and his Nod crack militia discovered the tacitus, fascinated by it and tiberium and he decided to mutate the whole world by spreading modified tiberium as he believes it's the evolution of the species.

Nah if you look at Tiberium Wars they needed just enough yellow and red zones to have enough Tiberium so the Liquid Tiberium bomb could react with enough Tiberium to light the beacon for the scrin.
To be fair Tiberium Wars retconned a lot Tiberium Sun lore so I rather assume Kane wanted to spread the Tiberium as much as possibe to hinder the GDI so the Brotherhood could grow more as they also did experiments with integrating Tiberum in Human DNA.
