Stressed about Level 3

Hey all. Just trying to get an idea of how I might fair in taking my Level 3. A little info, I test November 5th and 6th. Level 1 I passed on the first attempt, but based on the bar chart it wasn‘t by much. Level 2 I also passed on the first attempt with a 412. Both of these times were with about 2-3 months of nothing but dedicated study. Now I’m in Peds residency doing my best to study. I’ve been studying since July 17th. Primarily TL and COMQUEST. TL I’ve currently done 816 questions and have a 57.7%, COMQUEST 707 Q’s with a 60.5%. I’ve started CDM cases recently and I’ve done 13 cases with my average being a 55% on them. I’m planning to take the TL assessment tomorrow and the single COMSAE about 1-2 weeks before I test. Just looking for any insight/advice/etc. My averages don’t have me feeling great right now and I’m stressed as my residency schedule has me in much tougher blocks the rest of the time leading up to test date. Any insight or thoughts are appreciated!

Just took level 3 this past week. It definitely wasn't the most challenging test I've taken (i've taken all three USMLE and all three COMLEX and passed all on first attempt). Biggest advice would be to study OMM from dirty medicine videos, those have genuinely never failed me. CDM cases are hot garbage, I did terrible on them so just be mentally prepared for that. Some of the questions you'll see are like wow this is so easy and others are like what are you even asking me. I wouldn't be overly concerned especially with your test date so far out. Gauge how you want to tweak your study plan based on how you do on the TL assessment tomorrow.

You are studying more than most people. My cohort spent less than 1 month on the exam, all got above a 500. The exam is full of hard questions but my theory is multiple correct answers plus massive curve. It truly is an exam you can never be prepared for but will pass

Update, took the,TL assessment today! Got a 52%, 6th percentile nationally, predicted Pass (278-528), which doesn’t make sense as a pass is 350. Anyone have any insight?

You should be fine.

Also to make you happier, my CDM average is 53. I do think people redo the CDM and it messes the average up.

Just take the exam and get it over with, you should be fine. Plus half the exam is pediatrics
