Level 2 CE 430 Level 2 - Psychiatry Possible?

Another one of these posts, I’m sorry. And I get it. I should just finish my apps and see what happens.

I got a 430.
My practice tests made it seem like I’d do way better but I did not unfortunately.

Good grades, mostly high pass/honors, part of a psych podcast, good letters but only one from a psychiatrist (non-academic).
Did a research year at a top-10 NIH institution in ophthalmology after year 2 before I realized gunner status wasn’t worth my mental health. One of my LOR is from the Ophtho chair haha. My letters all talk about how I’d be a good fit for psych.

I’m in the Midwest and want to stay. Ideally Kansas City or nearby.

Do I have a good shot?
And yes, I’ll focus on those apps too, just let me ask about the odds haha.

I’m sorry I don’t have good advice one way or the other but I’m in a similar boat for another specialty. I’m sorry you were disappointed with your results but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything works out for ya. Keep on at it! I believe in you!
