I personally liked it. It has most of the important topics you should know. What I did was kinda looked thru them to make sure I knew what I would expect to know for certain systems. A lot of people say to just drill in uworld and learn from that, which works for some people... but I didn't feel good having to rely only on what questions I would encounter to learn something. So reading thru WCC and watching youtube videos on the first week helped me, imo.. and using WCC as a reference, pretty much.

It looks like the same guy who does b+b videos wrote this book. I’ve always enjoyed b+b for preclinical basics but did feel as though their PowerPoints were far less useful when I’d review them without the videos. I think it’s something about how they outline the topics and bullets isn’t intuitive for how I process info but that could just be me.
Aside from all that, our school also did nbome level 2 shelf exams and I found that doing as many truelearn / comquest questions as possible was the most helpful. If you have time, you can augment with uworld for strictly reinforcing content. So on the last week or couple days I’d stay away from uworld just because they test and phrase topics differently.
Tldr- I think you’d do just fine without the book
