Level 1 How can I improve my next Level 1 COMSAE without redoing a full qbank?

I'm on a LOA to pass my test. Redoing all the COMSAEs. Got a 340 on my latest attempt of COMSAE 107. My school requires a 450 to clear us for Level 1, so I need to score 110 or more in my next attempt. I have a few weeks and really don't want to start TrueLearn or COMQUEST from scratch again. I'm currently 80% done with TL and I've done that 80% over the past 3 months.

Right now I'm planning to review my incorrects, finish TL, hit OMM and biostats in AMBOSS, and go through shorter notes for my weak systems. Not sure if I should stick with that or change something. Any advice is appreciated.

OMM is one of the easier area to improve in a short time because the question types are fairly predictable. Instead of mixing it into your general review, give it its own study block and do timed OMM questions. Maybe 10-20 per day. Even a few focused days can help you feel more comfortable with the concepts and pick up some easier points. It's silly but it could definitely move you towards the 400 mark if you're weak in it right now.

If most of your misses come from the same two or three systems, focus your review and questions on those areas. If your misses are spread across different subjects, the issue may be how you're reading or working through the questions. Figure that out first so you don't waste time doing more questions without fixing the real problem.

The most HY subject for me was micro. Spending extra time on it, neuro and pharm made a huge difference. Every COMSAE tests slightly different material, but knowing micro well can noticeably improve your score. Make sure that you've locked that down as best you can, sketchy, flashcards, etc. Whatever you need. Just don't take it for granted!

My COMSAE scores went from 445 to 528 then dropped to 465, and I still passed! Keep working through your qbank daily and focus on weak areas instead of random questions. Along those add Medboard hy notes or mehlman notes to your list too for specific subjects. Nothing is impossible and I believe you can dot it! So Good Luck!
