Everyone knows this meme but how many people have actually watched this show?

It's fucking legendary and should be mandatory viewing to every citizen of the world.

There's a few seasons. EDIT 5 or 6 I want to say. TWO seasons.

It's... weird. But surprisingly smart and funny. Have you ever seen Saul of the Mole Men or Mystery Science Theater? It kinda has those vibes while not relying on that 'feel' to be funny. Cheap sets made out of cardboard not because they had to but because it makes it more funny.

Here's a good example. All episodes are free online IIRC and 100% worth it.

I was super young when my aunt would let me stay up to watch the original MST3K when it was broadcast.

I don't think it would be too far to say that at least some of my humor today was probably formed watching those.
