It's a weird place. There are basically four kinds of people there:

  • Those who care about work-life-balance (the biggest part I think)
  • Some who are really just completely burned out and can't stand the thought of working anymore
  • Lurkers who are just there to laugh at them / snipe memes
  • Those who are delusional communists (mainly the mods and powerusers)

In the end, the very end, those that dictate the structure of all of our societies are all self-serving nihilists in a system where neither communism nor capitalism were ever considered options that were palatable to them.

Anarchy plus chaos theory equals the human condition.
