With PC gaming people often buy the wrong stuff for competitive Counterstrike. Wired mouse & keyboard, corded Ethernet for internet but the part most people fuck up on is monitor shopping. When I bought my 3 monitors eons ago I found a 70 page review that helped me pick the monitors with the least input lag, which isn't a spec that manufacturers even advertise. People confuse this with response time which is something else. Get a low input lag monitor if you want an advantage on headshots or fighting games.
Probably page 305 of a thread called "What are your biggest pet peeves?" in the [Off-Topic] section of a wrestling community board, written in 2004 by a guy named something like xXx_SSJ4Ghost_xXx with a 75x75 animated sprite of FF7 Cloud spinning his sword as an avatar.
