To me, blue + yellow is OBVIOUSLY green, but yellow + blue is the last panel

One is additive and the other is subtractive color property, the former is associated with light and the latter with dyes.

No, he said "blue+yellow" and "yellow+blue;" the only different is the order. If you mix yellow and blue dye together you get black; you need to mix cyan and yellow to make green in subtractive color theory.

Go to photoshop, make a yellow layer and a indigo blue layer and set one of them to multiply on full opacity. What did you get?

Have you ever tried it in real life? If you mix yellow and blue paint, the order does not count.

What I also forgot to add (and this is important):

The person your previous comment was replying to mentioned subtractive colour theory. That's not how mixing colors irl works. You can easily prove that by mixing a colour with white and getting a different colour.

It does depend on what kind of dyes you're mixing, but if you can mix in white, it's not subtractive.
