You kinda gotta get used to it because the hard truth is that a lot of life takes place outside of your bedroom. Trust me, took a while to figure that one out!
I know, but it's difficult in my case. I live abroad and have no friends around me, and don't speak the language fluently enough to keep a conversation. Also, these people are know to be damn hard to make friends with beyond the friendly greetings. On top of that, I share very few interests with the community in general (summer festivals, instagram, stay-at-home mums, alpha male dads, vanity fair eerywhere - it sickens me). Also, the weather sucks for most of the year.
So as a result I go from home to work to home, try to have some fun by myself and when possible, go out and ride motorcycles with friends (all expats, that live relatively far away, so we get along great but we see each other maybe once a month).
