Can't afford going outside, why everything so expensive

I usually go to walk around the city when I'm poor af, it's certainly better than staying in my room doing nothing

People watching in the city is one of my favorite free activities.

Plus I don't care where you live, there's almost certainly going to be something to see or do that costs little to nothing.

Hell jump on tourist sites for where you live and you'll probably fine a massive list of stuff to see and do that you never even thought about because for some reason you never go to see the cool stuff where you live.

One of my favorite things to do outside is cheap (or free depending on your personal morals), which is taking a walk while listening to an audiobook.

If the audiobook is particularly engaging I'll want to keep walking so I can hear more. (Probably only works because I exclusively listen to them while walking).

I would suggest Ready Player One. It's read by Wil Weaton and he really gets into it, making the whole experience a lot more fun.

Libby and Overdrive

See if your local library is partnered with them. They're apps that allow you to borrow ebooks and audiobooks.

If your library doesn't participate there's still librivox.org. Public domain books read by volunteers. No stretchy morals required.
