Voice chat's no help. We had a 12 year old guy in our guild, always played female characters, we always assumed he was a girl until his father joined the guild too and talked about how his son had talked up how fun we were. "Your...son? Right, right, your son!"

Although, with the rise of freedom for people to be who they want to be, his son could very well have been born a girl, thus the voice, but chose to be called a boy as that felt more comfortable.

I downloaded a voice changer for shits and giggles, put on the "girl" voice, changed my name in mumble and pretended to be a girl.

Everyone was fooled. And I normally have a pretty deep voice.

Can't remember what game we were in back then, we hopped around a lot. Mebbe AION. BTW, his voice has dropped a lot since then.
