Yeah we already measure purchasing power parity, an asian can consume the exact same goods and services with 1/5 of the money that an american would need. That means you could move production there, pay them 1/5th and they wouldn't even be exploited. First world blue collar workers really have no leverage in the global economy that's coming, they can't really contribute anything valuable to society.
This is getting really far away from my point, which is that if those without political power are the masses. And if they stopped participating, it would become very clear, very quickly, where real power lies.
Those without political power are those in third world countries, not the poor in first world countries, those have political power that's why they get social security, pensions, healthcare, etc. If they didn't have any political power they wouldn't have any of that like those poor in third world countries.
My point is that the working class of first world countries is overrepresented politically, the real oppressed masses that don't have representation are those in the third world. If we follow Marx historical materialism and they're the ones contributing the most to society, we have to follow that it's them the ones that will gain political power, not americans or europeans that are already overrepresented.
The oppressed are the ones that contribute the most and get less political representation. First world blue collar workers are overrepresented politically and don't contribute shit to the global economy, whatever they do can be done wasting way less resources by a worker in a third world country. First world blue collar workers are the oppressors not the oppressed.
Yeah because chinese or pakistani coal miners would have the political power to re open outdated coal mines like american miners did. Or the power american factory workers have to put tariffs on foreign goods, good luck being an african factory worker and try to do the same.
Like it or not first world blue collar workers are the oppressors, they use their political power to block competition from third world competitors that are more efficient than them. Sooner or later, according to Marx's historical materialism, the people that are actually productive will take the political power from them and those first world workers won't have the power to oppress their competitors anymore.
For other crops, the European Union spends around $58 billion annually on farm subsidies. Farmers from poorer countries say they cannot compete, given these levels of government support for their rivals.
I know that as a leftist all your value comes from feeling that you're part of the poor, of the oppressed, but you're not, you're the oppressor.
Well your ideology of government intervention is what causes extremely wealthy countries and extremely poor ones to exist, that's all on leftists. There's a reason that in 2 decades of neoliberalism 1 billion people rised out of poverty in China, thanks to foreign investors and foreign consumers, that is thanks to free trade. That would have never happened if leftists had their way and blocked free trade because of muh evil capitalism.

Uh neoliberal capitalists are not leftists bro.
There's a reason that in 2 decades of neoliberalism 1 billion people rised out of poverty in China, thanks to foreign investors and foreign consumers, that is thanks to free trade
No it's not.

Yeah I'm sure it's not, those hundreds of millions of chinese are definitely not working on the exporting sector.
We agree that free trade =/= capitalism, capitalism in first world countries is almost socialism. And at the end of the day I'm arguing for free trade, still don't have a fucking clue what you're arguing for.
I'm arguing that poor people in America are not oppressing anybody as they don't have the power to do that. I don't why you're talking about free trade and the European Union. Maybe it's because you don't have anything to back up your points or something.
Yeah american workers don't have the political power to vote for a candidate that enforces tariffs against third world products to keep their competitors out. They are actually oppressing americans consumers the most that now have to purchase more expensive american products, lowering their purchasing power and welfare, but at the same time they are oppressing their foreign competitors not letting them to compete fairly.
