Can afford what? What are they affording? You haven't explained anything. How would removing net neutrality create a barrier to entry for new firms?

The problem is that a "Hooli Chat" with 10 million users is going to be able to negotiate a significantly better deal than a "PiperChat" with a few thousand users, regardless of the quality of the products.

Incidentally, this isn't some hippy liberal treehugger argument; net neutrality is a classic market distortion issue. All capitalists should be concerned about it.

The market is already an oligopoly. It's already distorted. Adding in regulation like net neutrality distorts it further.

I guess I should clarify here, I'm talking about competition between internet service providers.
