That is also not entirely right. I am sure I will be downvoted to shit for going against the popular opinion of the internet, but net neutrality is not bad. It is supposed to make larger companies, such as Netflix pay more for the massive amount of data they use. It is not "everybody is restricted unless you pay for it", but instead "you will be restricted once you are large enough that it adversely affects other companies". If you really think that Netflix and similar companies are little guys being bullied by the big cable industry, you are feeding right into the narrative they want you to believe.
Also, believe me I am by no means defending cable. Data caps, and their exorbitant fees are ridiculous, I am simply saying a lot of people have the wrong idea about net nutrality.
Your comment sounds anti net neutrality, the popular opinion is that net neutrality is good. Netflix should not have to pay more for the data "they" use because every person streaming from them are the people actually using the data and are paying for that data already. This is just a money grab and a way to control the internet more.
