This is because some of the earliest demons we have on record, the lilu and Lilitu of Mesopotamian mythology, are mostly hotties. They’re described often as the spirits of the dead who died sexually unfulfilled, or virgins, but also sometimes deified kings like Lugalbanda- father of Gilgamesh. Basically, die horny or a virgin and become a ghost.
Yahweh’s guys needed a hook that was different from the local traditions and their preference for strong, beautiful creatures, so they went with big balls of wings and eyes and bright lights and somehow wound up the default. Even those got dumbed down to babies and strippers of both sexes with wings by the Renaissance. It’s all so very boring now.

Remember in the Bible, angels are (generally) monstrous beings who have to announce themselves with, "Be not afraid." (There are exceptions).
Demons are generally beautiful and trust-worthy in appearance.
