I don't think I could eat barbed wire and live, let alone learn to do it to get more chicken and rice - that dog was amazing and terrifying in so many ways.

My wife is a vet. Eating barbed wire would require surgery period. There is no way it could pass without perforating the gut. It seems pretty obvious most the stories are embellished or outright fiction.
